Hi, I'm Bri!

I was born and raised in California, about an hour from San Francisco. I grew up playing soccer and reading every chance I got! After high school, I picked the most surprising path (according to most people that knew me) and decided to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point. I spent my four years in college learning about leadership, studying American History, playing on and captaining the women's soccer team, and finding my best friends in the whole world. It's also where I met my now husband - we sat next to each other in a class on Revolutionary America. It was very romantic, I assure you.








 

 

I spent five years serving as an Active Duty U.S. Army Officer in the Adjutant General branch, better known as Human Resources. My husband and I were posted in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Columbus, Georgia, and now Washington, D.C. Along the way we had our daughter, who just turned two! My service in the Army concluded in May of 2023. Over the last few months, I've been working as a content creator and ghost writer for a leadership non-profit based out of Northern California. 

 

 

My aspirations have greatly changed since becoming a mother and choosing to get out of the military. Now, I want to focus on the things that bring me joy. I am able to use my passion for sports, leadership, and writing to help the non-profit I am working for. I am also able to enjoy the day-to-day of being a mother, spending this wonderful time with my daughter while she is still young. Though I have no desire to teach in the near future, I know I will use all I've learned in the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) program at MSU to make me a better communicator, mother, and person. Maybe one day, a teacher, too.
